The Cottage

Ground Floor

A spacious living-room which seats 8 comfortably with a wood burning aga stove fire. Entertainment comes in the form of a large TV (Inc sky TV) with DVD, hi-fi as well as well stocked bookshelf's. French doors leading to a small sun lounge conservatory which over looks the side garden and the hot tub.

dinning-area and a door leading to the back garden.

The kitchen dinning table can sit 8 comfortably.

 

The kitchen comprises an outstanding 6 ring
double oven AGA range cooker. It is also
equipped with a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

Finally on the ground floor, is a good sized double bedroom, a bathroom with WC, corner bath and large cubical power shower.

First Floor

Upstairs is an unusual open gallery landing with timber-beamed double bedrooms at either end and a toilet with shower room in-between. The bedrooms have ample closet wardrobe space and both are fitted with washhand basins.

The second upstairs bedroom has 3 single beds.
There is plenty of loft space for storing luggage, boxes, etc., and the adjacent barn can accommodate one car and any amount of shopping. Water comes from the burn via filters and is fine for cooking/washing purposes, but we advise bottled water be purchased for drinking. The kitchen has a combination microwave/fan-oven with grill and ceramic hob on top, and all rooms have radiators run by gas central heating. The climate on the West Coast of Scotland can be changeable throughout the summer, and we advise our guests to be prepared for any eventuality from heatwave to heavy rain.

Gardens

The cottage has extensive private garden grounds to the rear and side of the property. There is also a secluded drive and parking area to the front and the other side, which can easily park 3-4 cars.

To the rear of the cottage is a large level grassed area, ideal for sitting out in the sun or having a BBQ or just watching the numerous peacocks and other wild life which live around the cottage.

To the side of the cottage, overlooked by the sun lounge is the cottage's own hot tub. Private & secluded you can enjoy hours of fun during the day or watch the stars at night with a glass of champagne.
